Oct 31 – Halloween

Happy Halloween!

This day is usually busy with getting costumes ready for trick-or-treating. But, if you haven’t already, get your pumpkins carved, roast up some pumpkin seeds, and set out some spooky fun decorations.

(Craft foam face taped to the house, read to gobble up any visitors!)

After trick-or-treating, warm up some hot chocolate (or apple cider) and pop popcorn or pumpkin seeds and watch your favorite halloween-ish movie!

We’ve decided on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and I’m going to try making Butterbeer (blend up vanilla ice cream, butterscotch syrup, and cream soda)! Here are some other movie ideas:

  • Harry Potter
    • Sorcerer’s Stone (7 and up)
    • Chamber of Secrets (8 and up)
    • Prisoner of Azkaban (10 and up)
    • All movies after Goblet of Fire (12 and up)
  • Nightmare Before Christmas (7 and up)
  • Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween movie (3 and up)
  • The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (6 and up)
  • It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (4 and up)
  • Beetlejuice (9 and up)
  • Casper (6 and up)
