Nov 12 – Chicken Soup for the Soul Day

chickensoup

Chicken Soup for the Soul Day was created as “…. a celebration of who you are, where you’ve been, where you’re going, and who you will be thankful to when you get there!”, according to the creators of the book series, Chicken Soup for the Soul.

How to celebrate this day:

  1. Check out some books from the library on Chicken Soup for the Soul – there are a few versions for kids, ages 8-12.
  2. Make a large batch of chicken soup, freeze some for later meals when you need some comfort food, or bring some to a friend or neighbor. Let your child help make it!
