April 24 – Pigs in a Blanket Day

Pigs in a Blanket Day is a day to celebrate this tasty finger food. It’s basically made of any type of sausage (pig) wrapped in a pastry (blanket). You can start out with breakfast by wrapping a breakfast sausage in a pancake with maple syrup. Then serve up lunch with a hot dog wrapped in crescent dough (recipe below).

Easy Pigs In A Blanket

What You’ll Need:
  • Hot Dogs
  • Crescent Rolls
  • Cheese Slices
How To Make:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Open can of crescent rolls, and roll out each triangle.

3. Place hot dog inside of the triangle. If you want cheese, add half slice of cheese and roll dough around the hot dog.

4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown.
