The Chinese Moon Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th moon, which usually falls in September or October.  This harvest moon is supposed to be the brightest and largest moon of the year.  Chinese people believe the moon symbolizes peace, prosperity, and family reunion. This day is celebrated with family and is the 2nd most important festival of the year.
